Sêr Cymru Inaugural PhD Conference
09 Sep 2016
Swansea University's newest addition, the Bay Campus, will play host to the launch of the Sêr Cymru National research Network PhD conference this September. Set in the grand surroundings of the campus' 'Great Hall' the conference will bring together the talent of over one hundred PhD students, involved with the graduate schools from across the network, namely Swansea, Cardiff and Bangor University as well as TWI. It will be an opportunity for those early career scholars to showcase their findings to the wider research community of Wales and benefit from the expertise that will be on offer from industry and academia.
Science innovation is essential to developing and sustaining the environment around us and in which we live. It is through fundamental research and projects such as the National Research Network (NRN) that we are able to develop these ideas and in turn enhance Welsh scientific research on an international scale.
